The grant is given for the translation of the Ratik commentary on the Yumka Dechen Gyalmo sādhana, the main ḍākinī practice of the Longchen Nyingtik. The Ratik, whose full title is Illuminating the Meaning of Tantra, A Commentary on the Practice Text of the Ḍākinī Queen of Great Bliss, from the Heart Essence of the Vast Expanse, was written by Ratön Ngawang Tendzin Dorje (a direct disciple of Jigme Lingpa) and thus is the first commentary written on Yumka by an author other than Jigme Lingpa himself. It is also the longest commentary composed on this practice and is held in high regard, shown for example by the fact that the 3rd Dodrupchen quotes the Ratik more than twenty times in his Yumka Zindri.

Main translator: Han Kop

Second translator: Matthias Staber
