Kudung of Dodrupchen Rinpoche

Just above the hilltops and valleys of Gangtok is a small retreat centre that belongs to Chorten Dodrupchen Monastery. It is here that the Fourth Dodrupchen Rinpoche, Tupten Trinlé Palzangpo, spent his final days. His body was not cremated but enshrined, now forever looking out over all beings.

Just recently, on the 23rd of the 11th Tibetan month (15th of January, 2023) was the first anniversary (déchö) of his passing.
