Report June 2022

This month we published two new translations. The first is another text for the Dukngal Rangdrol cycle of practices called Consecrating the Vase for the Practice of the Great Compassionate One, Natural Liberation of Suffering. This vase consecration, which is necessary when performing the guidance practice for the dead (nedren) according to the Dukngal Rangdrol cycle, appears in a recent compilation of Dukngal Rangdrol material published by Dodrupchen Monastery, Sikkim and is compiled by the Fourth Dodrupchen Rinpoche, Tupten Trinlé Pal Zangpo.

Our second translation is the first in a series for the cycle of the Sealed Quintessence (Tikle Gyachen), the innermost secret guru practice. We started with the translation of the lineage prayer: The Shower of Blessings: A Prayer to the Lineage of The Sealed Quintessence, the Innermost Secret Guru Practice, written by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo. Stay tuned, as we will publish many more texts of this profound cycle in the coming months.

Are you a practitioner of or aspire to practice the Longchen Nyingtik? We need your help to continue our translations and effort to publish the entire cycle of the Longchen Nyingtik into English, available for free online! Support us here. If everyone supports us for just a few euros a month, we’ll have enough funds to continue our work.

In the language of the gods, nāgas, and yakṣas,

In the language of demons and of humans too,

In however many kinds of speech there may be—

I shall proclaim the Dharma in the language of all!
